Abyss

I can’t assess every plunging fathom,

this endless night hasn’t a waking dawn

and down this kaleidoscopic chasm

I’ll fall until the feeling of falling is gone.

Swallowed by my curiosity,

into this rabbit hole I dive,

in pursuit of the strange luminosity

but what version of me

will emerge on the other side?
