Sweet Wind Sing Me a Tune

where did I see her?
where did she go?
I could have sworn I heard her laughter,
could have sworn I felt her nose,
had her scent stayed on my neck,
like it has so many times before?
still I'd like to believe I saw her,
even if it was just through the passing of the wind,
her passing through a faint kiss, that gently brushes my chin,
though I like to believe I felt her presence,
and it doesn't leave me ashamed,
because I know she's around when I hear the wind, softly singing my name,
you see she transfers her love through the skies
and I fall to the ground with hope that she'll carry me away,
the next time she happens to pass me by
